DCC-2618 Structure

Chemical properties Flake or acicular crystal.

Melting point 311-312℃ (decomposition), 260℃ sublimation. Soluble in hot water, weakly alkaline.

Use As a biochemical reagent. Glycylglycine is obtained by hydrolysis with a base, acid or hot water.

Production method: Obtained by condensation of glycine. The glycine and ethylenediamine were mixed at 1:5, stirred and heated, reacted at 174-176℃ for 50min, and then placed in the ice chamber to overclassify, filter out crystallization, wash with methanol, and dry to obtain glycinyl anhydride. It can also be prepared by condensation of glycine in dehydrated glycerin.

Glycine Anhydride (Glycine Anhydride) is a chemical substance with the formula C2H3NO2. It is a derivative of glycine (an amino acid).

The main uses of glycine anhydride include:

Drug synthesis: Glycine anhydride can act as an intermediate in drug synthesis. It can be used to synthesize various drugs and pharmaceutical intermediates.

Organic synthesis: Glycine anhydride can be used in a variety of organic synthesis reactions, such as building molecular frameworks or introducing specific functional groups.

Chemical research: It may be used as a reagent in the laboratory to study and develop new chemical reactions or methods.

Protein crosslinking agent: In biochemistry, glycine anhydride can be used as a protein crosslinking agent to study the structure and function of proteins.

Turf chemistry: In turf chemistry, glycine anhydride can be used as a component of a turf herbicide.
