Product Introduction:

Minoxidil HCL, which can be used alone or in combination with other drugs, is an orally effective direct acting peripheral vasodilator that reduces elevated systolic and diastolic blood pressure by decreasing peripheral vascular resistance, this vasodilation also increases the viability of hair cells or follicles. It is also used topically for the treatment of androgenetic alopecia and the main site of action is the arteries without venodilation.


Features:

1. Minoxidil HCL is a potassium channel opener that directly diastens vascular smooth muscle and has a powerful small arterial dilating effect, causing peripheral resistance, vasodilation and a decrease in blood pressure, while having no effect on the volumetric vessels, thus promoting venous return.

2. It increases cardiac output and heart rate without causing postural hypotension due to reflex regulation and positive frequency effects.

3. It stimulates hair follicles by improving good diastolic follicular vascularity and promotes circulatory hair follicle growth.


Usage:

1. for adults: 

Oral, 2.5mg/time at first, twice a day, then double the dose every 3 days, and gradually increase until the curative effect occurs. The maintenance dose is 10-40mg per day, taken in single or divided doses. No more than 100mg a day.

2. for children: 

Oral administration of 0.2 mg/kg per day according to body weight, once a day. After that, the dose should be adjusted every 3 days, and the body weight should be increased by 0.1 mg/kg every day, up to 50 mg a day under the age of 12. The maintenance dose is 0.25 to 1 mg/kg of body weight per day, taken once or in divided doses.
